Hunting
Field hunting on Sol pays through the Hunting Board (daily and weekly kill missions) and Hunting Coins that drop on the mission maps. Coins buy consumables and refine items at the Hunting Shop; the Surplus Buyer turns spare coins and shadow pieces into zeny.
The Hunting Board
A Hunting Board stands near the healer in nine towns (Services lists the positions), and one in the hub (group Services).
- After 04:00 server time, talk to any board and choose "Draw today's missions": you get 3 daily missions on maps 9 to 15 levels above yours (monsters above your level give up to 40 % more EXP); when fewer maps fit, the nearest ones fill in.
- Your first draw of the week (from Monday 04:00) also adds 1 weekly mission: three times the kills, five times the pay.
- Every mission is "kill N monsters on map X". Any monster you kill on that map counts, plants and MVPs too. Kill counts show in your quest window. Party members close to the monster get the kill too.
- Turn finished missions in at any board for coins, zeny and EXP. Each mission pays once.
- At your next draw, finished missions are paid first; unfinished ones expire.
- In a party, the board offers "Same missions as <name>" (the leader first): you get a copy of that member's daily missions and weekly mission instead of your own, whatever your level. You can copy until you turn in one of that day's missions (for the weekly: one weekly of that week). It is not offered while one of your own missions is finished: turn that in first.
Each map has a level: the middle level of the monsters that live there. Maps behind an entry level (listed under Bounties) are only given once you reach it. The pay of a mission follows its map's level:
| Map level | Kills per mission | Hunting Coins | Zeny | Booster Coins (Boosters only) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1-110 | 150-200 | 2 | 2,000 | 1 |
| 111-150 | 150-200 | 3 | 5,000 | 2 |
| 151-190 | 150-200 | 4 | 10,000 | 4 |
| 191-230 | 150-200 | 5 | 20,000 | 6 |
| 231-275 | 150-200 | 6 | 30,000 | 8 |
The weekly mission (three times the kills) pays five times these amounts. If you cannot carry the reward, it goes to your mailbox.
Some missions pay extra items on top, named in the quest text:
| Mission | Daily mission | Weekly mission |
|---|---|---|
| clock_01 (Clock Tower Unknown Basement) | 10 Lead | 3 Clock Gear |
| jor_tail, jor_back1, jor_back2, jor_back3, jor_dun01, jor_dun02, jor_ab01, jor_ab02 (Episode 19, Issgard) | 10 Snow Flower Petals | 50 Snow Flower Petals |
Lead and Clock Gear make the Solid, Wicked and Precision weapons; Petals buy the Snow Flower set and its enchant stones. The Episode 19 missions take the place of the official Episode 19 daily quests.

Every hunting map has a mission: every field and dungeon with at least 60 monsters that a player
can reach. Left out are towns, instance, job, quest and PvP maps, plant patches and small side rooms (fewer than 60
monsters), and the guild dungeons where guild PvP is always on (gld2_*, teg_dun01, teg_dun02). Any map without
a warper entry is open to @warp (above its entry level, where it has one).
The older mission maps are on the warper, except for_dun01 and for_dun02 (Forgotten Memories, behind the Garden of Time,
officially opened by a quest chain): the Field Guide in the hub takes you there from level 242. The
"Spatial coordinate probe" boxes inside lead back to the Garden of Time, whose exit leads to Lutie Field. clock_01 is
not on the warper either: the Giant Spring on Clock Tower 1F (c_tower1 246,197) lets you in from level 240.
The Episode 19 maps are on the warper; the Field Guide also takes you to Ice Castle from level 188. The Thanatos
Tower floors are on the warper ("Thanatos Tower", floors 9-12); their monsters also drop Fragments of Good Will and
Pieces of Sin (Thanatos Tower gear). The four Varmundt's Biosphere fields are on the
warper ("Varmundt's Dungeon"); the Field Guide takes you to the mansion hallway with their doors from level 230,
and a passage there leads to the doors of the Soul, Temple and Venom fields (not on the warper; open doors)
(Varmundt rune gear). Their monsters take only a tenth of normal damage. The Abyss
Depth (bl_depth2) is not on the warper: the Field Guide takes you to the Chess Garden with its entrance from level
250 (Time Dimensions crowns); its level 265 monsters also take a tenth of normal
damage. Depth 1 (bl_depth1) is not on the warper either: the Field Guide takes you straight in from level 250, and
each Biosphere field has a Depth Gate (Deep rune armors); its level 262-265 monsters take
a tenth of normal damage too. The five level 260 and 275 fields (ra_pol01, mjo_wst01, nif_fild03, moc_akhet,
cmd_bhole) are not on the warper: walk in through their official entrances (no level check) or take the Field Guide
from level 250 (Level 260 and 275 fields).
Bounties
Bounties are repeatable hunts for leveling. Pick "Bounties" at any Hunting Board, then a difficulty:
- Easy, Normal or Hard. You get a set of three bounties on three different maps around your exact level, the same at every level: Easy maps 0-5 levels below yours, Normal 1-8 above, Hard 9-15 above. When fewer than three maps fit, the board looks a little further out until it has three (at low levels, Easy is simply the lowest maps; at the top, Hard is the highest).
- Maps behind an entry level (Abyss Lake 4F 190, the Ice Castle fields 188, the Thanatos floors 191, the Biosphere
fields 230, the Clock Tower basement 240, the Garden of Time 242, the Biosphere depths 250, and the official doors
of Magma 3F 175, Einbroch mine 3F 180, Niflheim 2F 240, Amicitia 2F 230, Rock Ridge's
harboro2100, the Illusion dungeons of Moonlight 100, Frozen 120, Gef 130 and Turtle Island 150, Odin's Past 180; since 2026-10-14 also Bio Lab 3lhz_dun0395, the Illusion dungeons of Underwater 140 (iz_d04_i) and 180 (iz_d05_i), Teddy Bear 150, Twins 160,gl_cas01_175, Niflheim 1F 200 and Amicitia 1F 215, which the board used to hand out below their door) are only given once you reach that level. Dailies and weeklies skip them the same way. - Everyone of the same base level gets the same three maps for the same difficulty on the same day. The sets change every day at 4:00.
- In a party, the board first offers "Same bounties as <name>": you get a copy of that member's set (the leader's if the leader has one), whatever your level. "My own set" is still there.
- Kill counts show in your quest window. Turn each bounty in on its own, at any board ("Turn in finished bounties", or "Turn in finished missions" on the first page). You get a new set only when all three are turned in, or after you abandon the set (abandoning drops all three, finished ones unpaid).
- There is no daily or weekly limit, and bounties do not expire at the daily draw.
- Daily missions and bounties count the same kills, so you can work on both together.
A bounty takes 200 kills on the lowest maps up to 250 on the highest. It pays a quarter of the daily mission's coins (at least 1) and zeny of its map's band, and EXP (see Mission EXP). Bounties pay no Booster Coins and none of the extra items above.
| Map level (band) | Hunting Coins | Zeny | Kills |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1-110 | 1 | 500 | 200 |
| 111-150 | 1 | 1,250 | 210 |
| 151-190 | 1 | 2,500 | 225 |
| 191-230 | 2 | 5,000 | 235 |
| 231-275 | 2 | 7,500 | 250 |
Mission EXP
Every mission pays EXP at turn-in: its kill count x the average EXP of one kill on its map x 1.25 for a
daily mission, 0.6 for a bounty and 2.5 for the weekly mission (on its three times as many kills); your own
EXP rate multiplies it (@baserate, @jobrate). The average counts the map's ordinary monsters only: mini-bosses
and MVPs are left out (on a map with nothing else, such as the Biosphere depths, they count). The board shows the
EXP next to each mission and bounty, and the quest window shows it at 1x. A turn-in pays the whole amount at your
rate, even when that is several levels at once.
Examples (base EXP at 1x):
| Map (level) | Average kill | Daily (kills) | Bounty (kills) | Weekly (kills) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| prt_fild00 (13) | 168 | 31,511 (150) | 20,167 (200) | 189,067 (450) |

| bl_ice (253) | 1,341,123 | 318,516,728 (190) | 201,168,460 (250) | 1,911,100,370 (570) |
Hunting Coins on the field
Every monster on a mission map (plants, MVPs and summoned monsters too) can drop a Hunting Coin at 0.3% per kill. Advanced Looting and Bubble Gum raise this chance; the server's 20x drop rate does not. Expect about 2 coins an hour of steady killing, 3 with full looting: the board is the main source.

The ten "-ring" and Poring-family ones and the LoveLove Balloon can be enchanted at the hub's Hunting Shop ("Balloon enchants").
Surplus Buyer
Surplus Buyer in the hub (group Shops) buys:
| What | Zeny each |
|---|---|
| Instance Coin | 20,000 |
| Hunting Coin | 30,000 |
| Any shadow piece (up to 10 per sale; refine and options are lost) | 50,000 |
Equipped, rented or bound shadow pieces are not taken. These prices are placeholders and may change once zeny income has been measured.
Zeny from monsters
Every monster you kill also pays a little zeny straight into your purse: between its level and twice its level (a level 150 monster gives 150 to 300 z), shared by damage when several players hit it. MVPs pay much more. This comes on top of the board's zeny.
