What it is

The gear of the Constellation Tower (level 240+):

  • Faint Star body armor: Faint Star's Robe, Suit and Armor. The base piece of a Nebula armor.
  • Nebula body armor, six of them: Nebula Armor of Power and of Stamina (from the Faint Star's Armor), Nebula Suit of Concentration and of Creative (from the Suit), Nebula Robe of Spell and of Wisdom (from the Robe). Each leans on one of the 4th-job traits (POW, STA, CON, CRT, SPL, WIS).
  • Star Seals: the Signet of Star, and from it the six typed Signets of Star (Power, Stamina, Concentration, Creative, Spell, Wisdom).

Who uses it

Every 4th-job build from level 240: the Nebula piece of your main trait and the matching Signet.

How to get it

  1. Run the Constellation Tower (Instance Manager, level 240+). Every run ends at one of two bosses: Naght Sieger through the gap at floor 25, or Betelgeuse at floor 50 (or 75). Each clear pays every member:
Naght Sieger Betelgeuse
Meteorite Fragments 5 / 6 / 8 / 10 5 / 6 / 8 / 10
Soul Naght Sieger Soul 1 / 1 / 2 / 2 Betelgeuse Soul 1 / 1 / 2 / 2
Typed Meteorite Powder - each kind: 5-10 at 20 / 25 / 35 / 50 %
Instance Coins 10 (x1.2 / x1.5 / x1.8 by mode) 20 (x1.2 / x1.5 / x1.8)

(Normal / Hard / Nightmare / Hell.) Betelgeuse's treasure chests add typed Powder and typed Fragments on the floor for the party (more chests the higher his abilities were set at Oscar's altar). From 350 altar points up three more chests can appear, each as often as one typed-Fragment chest: Lucky Meteorite Fragments, Unknown Meteorite Fragments and Faint Magical Rune Stones (3-5 each, 5-8 above 600 points), and the bosses' map drops a Soul now and then. The tower's monsters drop Meteorite Powder (and the fifth-floor bosses Fragments). 2. Trade at the Vending Machine: in the hub (group Constellation Tower) or at the official spot in Alberta (206,76, next to the harbour captain). No quest needed.

What Price
Meteorite Fragment 50 Meteorite Powder
Faint Star's Robe, Suit or Armor 50 Meteorite Fragments + 5 Naght Sieger Souls
Signet of Star 100 Meteorite Fragments + 10 Naght Sieger Souls
Nebula piece (Advanced shop) 50 Meteorite Fragments + 30 Meteorite Powder of its kind + 10 Betelgeuse Souls + the matching Faint Star piece
Typed Signet of Star (Advanced shop) 250 Meteorite Fragments + 50 Meteorite Powder of its kind + 20 Betelgeuse Souls + the Signet of Star

A Nebula piece therefore needs both bosses: the Faint Star piece from Naght Sieger runs (5 Souls: 3 to 5 runs), the Nebula step from Betelgeuse runs (10 Souls: 5 to 10 runs), plus 100 Fragments (10 to 20 runs, fewer with Powder traded in) and 30 Powder of one kind.

Where the materials come from

Material Source
Meteorite Powder the tower's monsters (5 % and 2.5 % each), its fifth-floor bosses; also the Sunken Tower
Meteorite Fragment every tower clear; fifth-floor bosses (10 %); Betelgeuse's last chest; 50 Powder at the vending machine
Naght Sieger Soul Naght Sieger clears; his map drops
Betelgeuse Soul Betelgeuse clears; his map drops
Typed Meteorite Powder Betelgeuse clears (chance per kind), Betelgeuse's treasure chests
Typed Meteorite Fragments Betelgeuse's treasure chests (the second row, from 350 points up; the Lucky one in its own chest, as often as each other kind)
Unknown Meteorite Fragment Betelgeuse's treasure chests (from 350 points up); the Star Seal upgrades use it
Faint Magical Rune Stone Betelgeuse's treasure chests (from 350 points up)

Enchanting

At the Vending Machine in the hub (group Constellation Tower): tables for each of the six Nebula pieces and one for the Star Seals, in the client's Enchant window; the window shows each slot's cost and chances. The upgrade buttons (random and perfect) work through Sol's enchant module (Enchant upgrades). The Nebula pieces enchant in three slots with typed Fragments, typed Powder and Meteorite Powder plus zeny, as official.

Refine, grade, reform

Refine as usual (or in the hub: Refine and Grade).

Official vs Sol

Same prices and the same tower as official (kRO). On Sol the tower is entered from the Instance Manager (no captain, no quest), the cooldown is daily, the clear pays the Fragments and Souls the bosses handed out (plus Instance Coins and keys), and the Instance Manager mode makes the monsters stronger on top of the tower's own altar.

Comes after / leads to

After the Poenitentia weapons (Tomb of Remorse, 220+) and the Solid, Wicked and Precision weapons (Clock Tower basement, 240+).

Tips

Start with Naght Sieger runs for the Faint Star piece and the Signet, then switch to Betelgeuse. Keep Meteorite Powder: the brazier skips (50, 75, 100... a run) save time on the 60-minute timer, and the altar's sealed setting is the safest Betelgeuse, but more stars give more chests.
