Enchant upgrades

Some newer gear can raise an enchant it already has, right in the official Enchant window: Nebula armors and Star Seals, Season Hoods and Circulation of Life cloaks, the shadow pieces of the Shadow enchant table, Time Dimensions Rune Crowns and the seasonal signets (the Dimension World boots and shoes also use it, but that gear is not on Sol yet). Sol supports both kinds of upgrade the window offers.

Status. Switched on, but not yet tested with a real click in game. The enchanters that open these tables stand in the hub: the Vending Machine (Nebula armors and Star Seals), the Garden Vending (Mystical Beast and Circulation of Life garments, Signets of Circulation), the Biosphere Depth NPC (Time Dimensions Rune Crowns). If an upgrade button does nothing or the window does not refresh, tell Silent.

The two upgrade buttons

  • Random upgrade. Pay the listed zeny and materials; the enchant in that slot changes by chance. Depending on the enchant, the result can be:
  • the same enchant (the upgrade failed: the costs are gone, the enchant stays),
  • one level up,
  • two levels up (a lucky skip, e.g. on the Dimension boots),
  • one level down (on some cloaks, shadow pieces and crowns),
  • a different enchant of the same level (the Circulation of Life cloaks can turn into the Power, Critical or Stamina line).
  • Perfect upgrade. Pay more; the enchant always goes exactly one level up.

Pick the item and the slot in the window, then press the button. The window lists every possible result and its chance, and the costs: the chances and costs shown are the ones Sol uses (both come from the same official table). After each upgrade the window may need to be opened again for the next one.

Good to know

  • The item must be in your inventory, not equipped, and meet the table's refine minimum (Nebula armors: +9).
  • Only the enchant in the chosen slot changes. The item keeps its refine, grade, cards, random options and binding.
  • If you lack zeny or a material, nothing is taken and nothing changes.
  • When an enchant has both upgrade kinds in the same slot (some Time Dimensions crown enchants), the window's upgrade request is treated as the random upgrade. Tell Silent if the perfect button does something different.
